Parting Words

Naaaah!! Am not considering suicide!

This is my parting mail with my first organization. Why am I posting this here?

• One, this is the first time I am writing something of this sort
• Two, I have immense respect for this organization and would like to register it here
• Three and last – this is My blog and I can do what I feel like

We all know that it’s hard leaving an organization where we spent most of our waking time. We have heard it said by many who has written the “good bye mail” when they leave. So I am not going to say so. I just want to say “Gosh they weren’t joking!!” The longer the stay, the harder it is!

Naukri.com is an organization that brings in a personal touch to professionalism. If I was to give a tag (apart from the “India’s No.1 Job Site” tag, which is good enough) I would say – “Evolving Dreams”. This organization has given me the freedom to dream, experiment, and learn through experience. This being my first company after I finished my post graduation, looking back at this juncture gives me a great insight into how much I have matured, grown as an individual. A different outlook towards life is what this organization has gifted me.

I cannot afford to miss talking about the beautiful culture this organization has within, which trust me is very addictive. The approachable attitude that every person working here carries will take us a long way. There has always been enough bandwidth for me to balance my personal and professional life. I have always wondered if the phrase “dream come true” is actually true. I have seen many a dream come true for me.

Having said all these, what is an organization without the people who actually make one! I am thankfull to Manoj, Anant, Asish, Samit, Aditya, Shwet, Niraj, and Suresh under whose able leadership and mentoring I see myself where I am.

I would like to thank everyone who is now reading this mail (I have taken the luxury of the yahoogroups ) and would like you to know that – “You have made a difference and impact in my stay and growth in this wonderful organization!” Wish you the very best and many more successful months, quarters and years to come!

I would like to express my happiness, thanks and gratitude to the very core group of this organization – Sanjeev, Hitesh, Ambirish, and the board of directors for enabling a very friendly culture in this organization. I wish that all your endeavors and efforts take Info Edge to a greater level altogether.
